The buggy was made in Moline sometime between 1906-1912. It belonged to the Hazel Gantzert family of Mazon. This is a family carriage, used during the warmer months. It is made of hickory. The fenders are leather coated with tar to make them waterproof. The top is all wood. The buggy blanket is also from Woelfel Tannery—it’s from someone’s favorite angora sheep.
