Masonic clubs used to be huge in Grundy County. Buildings were built specifically to house masonic lodges, or the second floors of downtown commercial buildings were used. Membership gave men standing in the community.
The silver coffee pot was given to Lewis Porter Lott, a charter member of the Blaney Commandery during a ceremony in his honor.
The Knights of Templar hat belong to Herb Weitz.
The ceremonial sword belonged to Lee Wilson, a former Morris Paper Mill superintendent.
