Now available at the Grundy History Museum, an index of the books and historical records that make up the historical research library. Volunteer, Patrick Callahan has been busy indexing the museum library, categorizing by Dewey decimal number, title, and author. Included in the index are volumes of cemetery records, area natural resources, Mazon River fossils, Grundy County cookbooks, yearbooks from area high schools, church histories, and census records. Approximately one third of the library’s holdings are included in the index. More volumes will be added to the index and made available to the public.
Please visit the museum if you would like to use the library for research purposes.
