Curio Cabinet

Glassware from Johnson & Carlson Cut Glass Company which opened in 1912 on Armstrong Street. They hired mostly young women to cut the designs into the glassware. In 1922 the company moved to Warsaw, Indiana.

Nelson Pop bottles from the Morris Bottling Works that once operated where Chamlin’s Engineering building is now.

 Milk bottles from the many local farm dairies—Straightway, Maple Dairy.

Thoro Hand Cleaner was made in the former bottling plant at the Gebhard Brewery during the 1930s.   It was sold over the United States, and you could buy it locally at McKee’s Drug Store.
