Morris Fire Department

The photos on the wall are of: volunteers in front of the Morris fire house when it was the old Boren’s car dealership building on Wauponsee Street; fire at Thornton Industries on Route 6 in the late 1990s.

Helmets of former chief Bob Coleman and an earlier one from 1906, we do not know who it belonged to.

Fire alarm—each volunteer fireman had one of these in his home that went off when there was a fire.

Hose cart used during pre-gasoline engine era, could be pulled and moved by manpower.
