The Museum is open for research. We have copies of the Morris Herald Newspaper since 1875 on microfilm, card catalogue of local obituaries, plat maps, high school yearbooks, telephone books, photos and other archival research materials.
If you are doing genealogy research a staff member can help you find the correct resources and information for your research. As part of our mission, we help to preserve the history of the area, which includes the people who live here.
Genealogy Room
Our Genealogy Room is now open. We have a dedicated computer for you to use to access: Ancestory.com, Find a Grave and Family Search. We will be adding additional search engines in the near future.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers whose work transformed the garage into a viable research room. Special thanks go to Dan Dransfeldt, Jim Hayes, Kevin Connor, Mark Riley and Ed Aldrich.
